ABU ROBOCON, also known as Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union Robotic Contest is an interesting game-cumintellectual exercise for budding engineers, determined to innovate and create machines for producing desired results. Participation in this activity is an endto-end competitive experience from concept design of a system of robots, to program them to perform according to the rules of the game, to score a victory beating the competitors; all this according to a theme declared by the host country. Team ROBOCON MJCET (TRM) has been representing the college in this competition for the past six years. We started from a group of amateur robotenthusiasts and have come a long way to becoming a well experienced team. From a bunch of wires and aluminum blocks to wireless controllers and pneumatics, the team has gained remarkable improvement in the field of robotics.
Our standings at the national level have been significantly increasing owing to the experience gained through participation. We have also bagged awards consecutively for the past three years.
